Message these cars anymore, that means one of two things:

Either someone pays cash for the agreed price, or someone gets an unsecured loan to pay for it or at least part of it.

People will always be more discerning when paying cash for a car. Since these cars aren't relatively rare, they had better be a really damn fine specimen if you want a price that is well outside the "book value".

Most unsecured loans are only short term, meaning if someone is in effect going to take up $600+ car payments, they would have to be an idiot to do so on a half-assed or worn out 16-20 yr old car that they may end up forced sinking even more money into. Why do that when you could get into something much newer, less of a hassle, with better financing terms?

So short answer is, these cars aren't worth a lot unless you have something truly unique or widely sought after...and I hate to say it, but a 140k mile 92TT is neither.

Don't feel bad, 95% of us are in the same boat.
